This Privacy Policy describes how Saga One, LLC. (referred to throughout as “Saga,” “we” or “us”) processes information with regards to your use of our website and mobile application, (collectively, the “Services”). Your right to privacy is very important to us, and we want you to understand what types of information we collect, how that information is used, and how might the information be shared.

Definitions

As this Privacy Policy is supplementary to our Terms of Service, any undefined terms found in this Privacy Policy originate from our Terms and therefore have the same definitions.

Saga holds “Series”, which are localized leagues where cyclists ride predefined routes (“Stages”). Cyclists have a limited time window (a “Season”) to complete the Series.

Information Collected

Account Creation

Signing up for Saga requires an account on third party services (either Apple or Google). We request your name and email from those services, and it is only through your express authorization at the time of login that the information is given to us. Your name and email is is controlled by you and your privacy settings on those services.

Core Features Information

We collect your location information to determine which Series you are eligible to join. We also collect your cycling activity to determine completion of a Stage.

Saga has different competitive categories for our cyclists. We collect your preferred gender category (per Season) to place you in those categories. We also collect your birth year to determine your riding age (which may differ from your actual age).

Connected Devices Information

You may link devices to track your cycling activity instead of using our App. Any information relayed by these third party devices and apps are collected by us. Depending on the device or app, this may include health information such as your heart rate, power, and cadence. At the time of connecting these third devices and apps, Saga always asks for your express permission for which types of information can be shared.

Optional Information

• Any optional profile fields like height, weight, profile image, or social media handles.
• Any Content you decide to post on the Services when interacting with other users.
• Payment information. If you subscribe or make any purchases on the Services, your information is collected through third-party payment services that are Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliant such as Apple Pay or Google Pay.

Technical and Usage Information

We use logging services that automatically collect any hardware and software information (e.g. device, browser type), network information, IP addresses, access timestamps, page or screen views, and any interactions on them.

We also use cookies which may be found on our website, App, or any emails we send. These cookies include essential cookies that log you in or out, as well as analytics cookies (with your consent) that inform us how people are using the Services.

How We Use the Information Collected

To Provide the Services

We collect the information we do mainly to provide the Services. This allows you to:

• Participate in the core feature of location-based seasonal leagues. Your riding activity directly creates the rankings within the Series and category you participate in.
• Analyze your performance.
• Interact with other users in the Saga community.

To Maintain a Safe and Trusted Community

Though we do not regularly review or monitor Content shared on our Services, we may do so especially in cases when a user is reported for having violated our Terms. We review the information for unsafe material, spam, cheating, fraudulent activity, or anything that may violate our terms. (See our Terms’ Community Guidelines and Your Commitments.)

To Customize Your Experience

Since the core feature of Saga is location-based, we may suggest Series that are within your vicinity.

To Improve the Services

We analyze and research the information with the goal of improving the Services. Where applicable, we use the information to debug and deliver fixes. We may use third party analytics services to process the aggregated data to understand how our Services is being used.

To Communicate With You

The various ways or reasons in which we may reach out to you are:

• Push or email notifications. These are for your timely participation of the Services.
• Updates on new features, changes, and fixes to the Services.
• Processing, responding, or assisting you with any support requests you make to us.
• Updates to our Terms or this Privacy Policy.

How Information is Shared and Disclosed

With Other Users

This specifically only includes information you make available to other users on the Services.

• Your profile. Anything you put on your profile will be visible to other Saga users.
• As providing Series rankings is part of the core features, other users who join the same Series during the same Season can see your best time for each Stage in that Series. Users who do not join the same Series in the same Season can only see your highest divison placement for the Season.
• Any Content you decide to post on the Services.

Public Content

You may choose to publish and export your Season’s aggregate riding statistics outside of the Services and share on social media platforms or with any contacts on your mobile device.

With Law Enforcement

To comply with law, our legal obligations and any regulatory processes, we may have to retain and disclose your information to law enforcement, courts, government authorities, and any authorized third parties.

De-identified User Content to Promote the Services

Where permissible under applicable law, we may use Content that is always de-identified with its original user or aggregated information to promote and market the Services.

Your Rights

You have certain controls over your own data. Depending on where you live, there may be particular controls available only to you, such as in U.S. California.

Manage Your Information

Update your account and profile information accordingly. You are responsible for keeping it up to date.

Data Access and Portability

The Services does not serve non-U.S. residents. If you live in U.S. jurisdiction where applicable law gives you the right to retrieve copies of your personal information in a portable format, we will work with you to do so.

Data Deletion and Erasure

You have the option at any time to delete your account and all related information. Please see our Terms’ User Content Retention for more information on how long and under which scenarios the data is kept.

Other

Children’s Privacy

Our Services is not intended for children under 13 years of age. If you are under 13 years of age, do not use the Services.

Non-U.S. Residents

Our Services is not intended for anyone living outside of the United States. All of our Series are U.S.-based locations.

Changes to Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to change our Privacy Policy at any time for any reason. If we make material changes, we will notify you. Otherwise, please review this Privacy Policy often. If you disagree with the updated Privacy Policy, your only recourse is to delete your account and discontinue use of the Services.
